With the closing of Juicy Couture’s Boutiques, attached is an article I wrote for Hit The Floor Magazine. The creators of Juicy Couture, Pam and Gela, who sold the line several years ago have moved on to start a new line. With their “Do Not Compete Clause” up, they are ready for more. Read below to see what their up to!
Every now and then, I like to highlight a new clothing store that has opened locally. This time it’s a store called ‘Angel‘. ‘Angel’ is located in the Westfield Galleria Roseville, and carries a wide variety of clothing and accessories for the girl that loves to shop.
The owners, Sheyda and Armando Munoz, have been in the boutique business for quite some time and take pride in what they do. The boutique has mass appeal when you walk in, its vibrant, Â welcoming, and merchandised appropriately. The price point is right on target; not overly priced.
On the day I visited Angel, there was a photo shoot going on for a soon to launch magazine called ‘Karisma‘. I loved the vibe going on from the music to the photographer to models. It had a high fashion feel right there in Roseville CA. There’s a lot of excitement going on…… stay tuned!!

I’m sure we’ve all seen Confessions of a Shopaholic right? Well, we all probably have a little bit of Rebecca Bloomwood in us right? Its true and been said that shopping makes everything better and just brings a sense of joy. But we must remember that clothing is not everything and I have to remind myself of that, but there are days when I just need to buy to make ME feel better. So, cheers to Rebecca Bloomwood!

So I have a new boutique I’d like to introduce you to. It’s owned by Robin Bernardoni of Runway boutique in El Dorado Hills Ca. I did a post a while back on her and the boutique. Well, Button up boutique in Folsom Ca is just as cute as Runway, but a bit smaller. This boutique carries the most amazing items. From shoes to undergarments to accessories. The selection of clothing varies from casual to dressy, actually they have almost everything you need under one roof.
This is the 2nd installment of my weekly outfits from the local boutiques. Enjoy!
Have any of you visited a clothing exchange retail store? Well there are a few in my area and they pretty much try to keep up with the latest trends in fashion. There’s this one by my house called Freestyles Clothing Exchange. They are a store that buys and sells new and used clothing. The clothing that they sell must be in excellent condition. I don’t buy the used clothing, but if there were an item that I couldn’t leave without I would buy it.
My visits to there are purely an ulterior motive; when my closet is expanding with clothing I don’t wear anymore, I simply take them there and sell them. This way when I shop for new items, the old simply get tossed out! Their buyout is good compared to another exchange store and it’s close to me. I like how the place is set up and they type of clothing they choose to buy and sell. It’s very indie and urban. But they do carry a good amount of name brand items as well.
I suggest if anyone has a clothing exchange store in your hometown, support them and your pocket book to do more shopping for yourself!!
